SkillSeeds Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create and use a SkillSeeds account independently. If you are under 13, you may only use SkillSeeds through a parent, guardian, school, or other authorised supervised account arrangement provided through the platform. By using SkillSeeds, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements and that any information provided during registration is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not impersonate others, create fraudulent accounts, or attempt to access systems without permission.

3. Learners and Creators

SkillSeeds users may act as learners, creators, or both. These Terms apply to all platform activity, including viewing, creating, uploading, purchasing, selling, unlocking, or sharing content.

4. Creator Content

Creators retain ownership of the content they upload to SkillSeeds. By uploading content, you grant SkillSeeds a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, distribute, promote, reproduce, and provide access to your content through the platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content is lawful, that you own or have permission to use it, and that it does not infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights.

You must not upload illegal, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, abusive, deceptive, harmful, malicious, or unauthorised copyrighted content.

SkillSeeds reserves the right to disable, hide, or remove any SkillSeed that does not meet our content, safety, quality, or platform standards.

5. Educational Disclaimer

SkillSeeds provides access to user-generated educational content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, quality, or usefulness of creator content.

Users are responsible for how they apply information learned through SkillSeeds.

Content on SkillSeeds is for informational and educational purposes only and should not be treated as professional, financial, medical, legal, fitness, or other regulated advice.

6. Seeds, Purchases, and Creator Earnings

SkillSeeds may use virtual platform credits called Seeds. Seeds may be earned, purchased, or awarded and may be used to unlock content or platform features.

Seeds are not a bank account, currency, or investment product. They have no cash value outside SkillSeeds unless explicitly stated through creator withdrawal features.

Seeds are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged between users except through platform functionality explicitly provided by SkillSeeds.

SkillSeeds does not guarantee any level of earnings, traffic, visibility, or success for creators. We may reverse fraudulent transactions, remove Seeds obtained through abuse, or suspend payouts during investigations.

Creator earnings, withdrawal availability, platform fees, and reward structures may change over time as SkillSeeds develops.

7. Refunds

Unless required by law, purchases of Seeds, unlocked content, or digital products are generally non-refundable. We may issue refunds, credits, or reversals at our discretion for accidental purchases, duplicate charges, technical failures, or fraud.

8. Platform Conduct

You agree not to harass others, or attempt to manipulate ratings or platform systems, artificially inflate engagement or earnings, scrape platform data, upload malicious code, interfere with platform security, or use SkillSeeds for scams or deceptive practices.

9. Intellectual Property

The SkillSeeds platform, branding, design, software, and related materials are owned by SkillSeeds or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit platform materials without permission.

10. Content, Suspension and Termination

Creators remain fully responsible for all content uploaded to SkillSeeds, including content created or assisted by artificial intelligence tools. SkillSeeds may require creators to disclose significant AI-generated content in certain situations.

SkillSeeds may investigate, moderate, remove, restrict, demonetise, or disable content or accounts at its reasonable discretion.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal or security risks, engage in fraud or abuse, or harm the platform or community. We may also remove content, reverse transactions, or restrict access where reasonably necessary.

We may cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law.

11. Platform Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of SkillSeeds at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent feature availability, or error-free operation.

SkillSeeds is an evolving platform and features may change during early release phases.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkillSeeds is not liable for user-generated content, creator advice or guidance, lost earnings, lost opportunities, indirect damages, data loss, or service interruptions.

Creators are responsible for any taxes, reporting obligations, or legal responsibilities relating to earnings received through SkillSeeds.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

13. Privacy

Your use of SkillSeeds is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SkillSeeds after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to SkillSeeds will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
